Leadership

Dan Tucker
President

A passion for imaging supplies runs in the family. Dan's father sold copier paper, typewriter ribbons, and correction fluid before starting Business Machine Products (BMP). BMP was founded in 1996 to sell remanufactured ink and toner cartridges to companies throughout North Carolina.

Dan's extensive knowledge of the print industry grew while he worked as the company's Sales Manager. He took over management of the business in 2001. Under Dan’s leadership, BMP expanded to offer additional services and become BMP Print Solutions. Through its Managed Print Services program, BMP manages the printer fleets of companies throughout the state. They have clients in the Piedmont Triad, Hickory, Raleigh, Charlotte, New Bern and Morehead City.

He recognized the need to help companies manage their documents. As the Triad's authorized DocuWare Strategic Partner, BMP helps its clients improve workflows through the use of a central document pool. This revolutionary software allows users to securely access and manage all types of data.

Dan's entrepreneurial experience started with Triad Valet, Inc. This successful dry cleaning delivery service had clients throughout Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem. He is a member of Sandler Training's President's Club, DocuWare System Consultant, and DocuWare Application Consultant. Dan holds an accounting degree.

Dan enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Jana, and their children, Hunter and Katie. He is a water enthusiast who loves to boat, wake board, water ski, and scuba dive. He also a private pilot and holds his private pilots certificate. He enjoys camping and has been an active supporter of Cub Scouts Troop 316 for years.

Julie Proctor
Executive Assistant

Julie has been with BMP since 2006. As Dan's executive assistant, Julie manages the functions of accounting, payroll, and human resources. She performs a wide range of business responsibilities to ensure a smoothly functioning office. Julie is a certified DocuWare Application Consultant.

Before joining BMP, Julie worked in Los Angles for the CEO of Epitaph Records and for the CEO of Interstate Distributor Company in Seattle. She earned her degree at Pierce College in Washington State.

Julie is happy to be back on the East Coast and lives in Kernersville with her husband and pairs of pets (two labs, two cats, and two fish). In her free time, she's the organizer of a local hiking group and often spends her weekends hiking in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.

Service

John Luther
Technical Service Manager

Employed with BMP since 2016, John manages BMP's experienced team of repair technicians and third-party service providers. John also manages parts inventory, warranty claims, and vendor relations. He strives to provide exceptional service and minimal downtime for every customer.

John studied Mechanical Engineering @ Ohio State University and has over 20+ years of technical and account management experience. Before joining BMP, John worked as a National Account Manager for Fortune 500 IT service solutions and as Service Manager for various RV and automotive service companies.

John is an avid biker who with his wife and 4 girls enjoys camping, fishing, and attending motorcycle rally’s around the country. He enjoys all things mechanical, working with wood, and traveling.

Joey Burchette
Service Technician

Joey joined BMP in 2016.   He has 17 years of experience working on laser printers, DesignJet printers, facsimile machines and scanners.   Joey graduated from Surry Community College with a degree in Computer Engineering and Electronics Engineering.  He is also A+ and Net+ certified.    He continuously taking online printer certification tests to keep current on with the new printers. 

Joey’s outstanding customer service skills and upbeat personality is conveyed frequently by his customer base.   He served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Storm. 

In his time off, he enjoys building and repairing various structures with his mission ministry team in Elkin, NC.

Sam Martin
Service Technician

Sam started his career as a copier technician at Xerox 20 years ago. Over the years, Sam’s experience evolved to the addition of repairing printers and facsimile machines. He stays up-to-date with the everchanging new release of printers and copiers by taking online printer certification testing. Further accomplishments are his certification in A+ and Net+.

BMP was fortunate to add Sam to the team in 2015. Besides being an excellent technician, he has outstanding customer service skills that is expressed from his customer base.   

On the weekends, Sam spends time with his family. His favorite past-times are woodworking, bike riding; and, watching sports with friends.

Jerry Craft
Sales Representative

Jerry Craft joined BMP Print Solutions in Greensboro, NC as a Sales executive. Jerry brings over 20 yrs of sales and account management experience with a strong background in productivity and efficiency planning.

Administration

Charlie Malone
Customer Service Manager

Since 2001, Charlie has been responsible for BMP's customer support, sales, and purchasing. Her number one priority is to make her customers happy. She enjoys talking with customers and providing solutions for their needs.

Prior to joining BMP, she worked in the copier industry for five years. Her positions included Officer Manager and Manager of Contract Billing.

Charlie enjoys walking her sweet mutts and doing yard work. She's also a keen bowler and likes to hike on trails throughout the Triad.

Patti Cromer
Customer Support Representative

Patti has been responsible for BMP’s customer support since 2014. She takes satisfaction in making sure the customer’s toner needs are met in a timely manner.

Patti has years of office experience. This experience includes a variety of tasks such as customer service, accounts receivable, receptionist and office assistant.

During her off-time, Patti enjoys outdoor activities, reading and traveling. She is an organizer of a hiking group in the Triad so most weekends she is on the trails exploring the beautiful mountains in N.C.
